What are the sleeping arrangements and max occupancy?
Basecamp can comfortably host a maximum of 10 guests. The home features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The sleeping setup includes:

How does parking work (especially in winter)?
We have a private driveway that fits a maximum of 5 cars.

⚠️ Winter Warning (Nov 1 – May 1): You must park strictly in the driveway. Placer County fines vehicles parked on the street to allow for snow plowing.

Please Note: No street parking is allowed at any time of year.
Are pets, parties, or smoking allowed?
To keep our home in pristine condition for all guests, we have a few strict rules. There is a $250 penalty fee per rule broken for the following:

No Pets: We love animals, but this home is strictly pet-free.

No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited both inside the house and on the exterior property.

No Parties: Events are not permitted. Please observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM.
What do we need to know about Bears and Trash?
You are in bear country! To keep you and the wildlife safe:

Lock Up: Ensure all windows and doors are locked when you leave; bears know how to open unlocked doors if they smell food.

Vehicles: Never leave food in your car and lock your car doors.

Trash: Trash day is Thursday. Please place garbage in the bear bin at the street and check the bottom of the lock to ensure it is fully latched.
What is the cancellation policy?

100% Refund: If canceled at least 30 days before check-in.

50% Refund: If canceled between 14 and 30 days before check-in.

No Refund: For cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.
